Cael Granou - Class of 2026 (Urbandale High School)

I went out the Des Moines Area to shoot Cael’s senior session, and the images turned out amazing! Exactly how I envisioned. We started at Greenbelt Trail in Clive. He wanted greenery and nature, so that’s exactly what we started with!

The Bridge

We walked over to a different area in the Greenbelt Trail, and we liked this bridge, so we took some images on the bridge as well!

Downtown Des Moines

We went to the Downtown Des Moines area to look for tall buildings and architectural environments, and these images turned out incredible!

Urbandale High School (Soccer Field)

We went over to the Urbandale High School to capture his soccer pictures, and wow! Some of my favorite soccer pictures that I’ve even taken! Especially the one where he kicked the ball right at me! The ball actually hit me, but it was worth the shot! These images are epic!!!

I used my Canon EOS R5 + Canon RF 135mm f/1.8 to capture these images!

I also used 3 Flashpoint XPLOR 600 Strobes, 2 of them to backlight him with the Glow 45 Degree Long Focus Reflector for Bowens Mount, and the key light was the Flashpoint XPLOR Pro with the 42” Glow Beauty Dish!
