Caleb Reyes - Mount Pleasant Community High School

Caleb Reyes came to Ottumwa from Mount Pleasant to get his senior pictures taken! Caleb attends Mount Pleasant Community High School. We photographed his senior pictures at the new soccer fields “Legacy Fields” in Ottumwa on Highway 34. We started with some close up images. I love shooting through the soccer net, so that’s how we started! He had 2 different jerseys that he wanted to use.

Straight To Business

Then we got straight to business. We started capturing some amazing, dynamic images. Caleb didn’t really have a vision for his senior session, but I ALWAYS have a vision, so I brought my vision to life and gave him direction on what I wanted him to do. And it worked out perfectly!

My Favorite Images

Here’s a couple of my favorite images from the session. These are the “Soccer Is Life” type photos. Like all I think about is soccer! That’s the vibes!

The Action

Here, we got some action shots. It look a few tries to get the kicking shot perfect, but I’m happy with the results. Turned out amazing! You can see the details of the grass flying with the ball! Amazing!

Pro Light Mods & K&F Concept Filters

So we then went to my studio to capture some dynamic images with the Pro Light Mods, smoke, and we also used the K&F Concept Filters. We started with the K&F Variable Star Filter Cross Screen Starburst Filter, then we used the K&F Bilateral Blur Ghost Motion Filter. Absolutely amazing! I’ve been shooting for over a decade and I’ve never used one of these filters. I will definitely be using them more often! Incredible what you can do with a $50 piece of glass of front of your lens!
