Evans United Shows Carnival 2025

Evans United Carnival was in Ottumwa, IA in the Quince Place Mall parking lot from August 6th - August 10th 2025. They have amazing rides, the food, the lemonade, and my personal favorite, the funnel cakes!

I captured some images and candid moments of both kids and adults having a good time at the Evans United Carnival on August 8th, August 9th, and August 10th, moments before setting up to take some amazing professional portraits with the carnival lights and Ferris wheel in the back.

You can see the Ferris wheel images below! It’s something that’s never been done before, so I had to step in and bring my idea to life! I had it setup to where you can stop by Siryss Photography by Siryss Media and get your professional portrait taken and receive an 8x10 right on the spot for only $20! I was crazy busy and people loved the idea. It’s something that I came up with when I photographed a couple friends and my sister in front of the beautiful carnival lights at the Sam’s Amusements Carnival back in June. And thanks to Jessica, I was able to make that happen. Hopefully it’s something that we can do annually as I love meeting new people, photographing them, and see the joy on their faces when they receive their professional portrait.
