Spencer Hemm - Class of 2026 (Ottumwa High School)

Meet Spencer Hemm! One of the coolest senior I’ve photographed! We started out at Pioneer Ridge, my favorite location! He wanted greenery and nature, so this is the perfect place! Especially around this time! It’s so beautiful!

Balance

So here, he decided he wanted to balance on the ledge. He’s super athletic, so he was able to do it! It was super awesome! He survived! Lol!

Pioneer Ridge (The Bench)

Pioneer Ridge has this cool looking bench that I love to photograph my clients on. So I had him sit there and we got some awesome images!

Rock Bluff Park

We went over to Rock Bluff Park in Ottumwa to get some images as well! This is my first time over here. And it definitely won’t be my last. It’s literally right around the corner from my house! This location is beautiful!

Abandoned Train Tracks

In this area, there’s also some abandoned train tracks. Meaning there’s no trains that run on these train tracks. He asked if I can take some photos of him on the train tracks. I said absolutely not, but we did get a couple of him sitting on the hill next to the train tracks, and it looks pretty awesome! Although they’re abandoned train tracks, I still consider it dangerous and I don’t recommend it. Be safe shooting!

Downtown Fitness

He also wanted to get a few images in the gym. This was last minute. I envisioned him with a muscle shirt, heavy chains around his neck, with some headphones, but he just wanted to dress casual, and that’s okay! I’m still happy with how these turned out! He was super chill and easy to work with for sure!
